Anissa New-Walker is a marketing and communications strategist. In 2012, Anissa founded mediabliss to offer companies and organizations solutions to their marketing, communication and fundraising efforts. She is able to quickly analyze whether an organization's strategies and messaging leverage their brand identity, product and service, mission and vision.
She uses her clients’ marketing and communication data to design solutions that deeply resonate with their audiences and move them to act.
She honed strategic marketing and messaging skills in a 17-year career in advertising at Fortune 500 ad agencies - BBDO New York and Bates USA. She now uses this background to the advantage for corporate social initiatives and nonprofits: The Kaiser Family Foundation, Amtrak, Merck, United Methodist Women and Stony Point Center to name a few.
Anissa holds an M.S. in media management from The New School University for Public Engagement and a B.S. in advertising from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Communications.
When she is not working with clients, Anissa enjoys hiking in upstate New York, visiting museums and creating watercolor illustrations.
